Tales of the Echowood (Original Podcast Soundtrack)
For Homestead on the Corner's fantasy podcast, "Tales of the Echowood," Jesse created over three hours of fully-scored fantasy music. Featuring soloists and small ensembles, this score is a creative force of main themes, captivating musical textures, and music that transports you to another world.
Gravity (Single)
Way back in highschool, Jesse's musical life and compositional practice revolved around one thing, POST-ROCK. This cinematic style using a traditional rock band and synths to create a cinematic atmosphere is channeled in his single release, "Gravity."
Paul McCarthy (Arrangement)
In collaboration with the magnificent Orchid Quartet, Jesse Haugen wrote a brand new arrangement of Mike Viola's song, "Paul McCarthy." This strings and vocals only arrangement is an exciting reimagining of his indie rock song.
Silvertongues (Original Podcast Soundtrack)
Accorn Arts & Entertainment's wild scifi/drama/comedy/ETC podcast, "Silvertongues," features a score by Jesse Haugen that is equally... out there. Set on a tropical island, this music uses ukuleles, wood flutes, pan drums, hand percussion, and analog synths to channel scifi madness and wonder. The first track will make it all make sense... just hit play.
Halfdanr (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
Another one of Jesse's collaborations with Lance Witmer on his film, "Halfdanr," yieled a dark, earthy score that is full of heart. Featuring beautiful solo cello performances and the Budapest Scoring String orchestra, these themes will take you on a journey of loss, honor, and brotherhood.
Sym Fera (Arrangements)
Nick Simmons and Vinnie Ferra's genre-bending alternative electronic rock duo, "Sym Fera," often makes use of Jesse's orchestral arrangements. Below are two tracks that do just that.
